Kingfisher

"Kingfisher" is a copper etching that honours my childhood fascination with these remarkable birds. Inspired by my parents' love for birdwatching and our global travels, I vividly recall the awe-inspiring moments of observing kingfishers in their natural habitats.

Known for their vibrant colours and swift movements, kingfishers captured my imagination.
Instead of using paint, I opted for the intricate art of etching to capture their delicate features. 

This etching not only portrays a bird but also embodies cherished memories with my parents and celebrates the natural wonder of the world. It encourages viewers to admire the kingfisher's grace and vibrancy while contemplating the joys of exploring and discovering nature.
